In this document MFBC S.p.A. describes how the personal data of visitors to mfbc.it is processed, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and to Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.
1. Data controller
The data controller is MFBC S.p.A., registered office at Via Gabrio Serbelloni 4, 20122 Milan, Italy — VAT and Tax ID 06311150962.
For any matter concerning personal data you may write to privacy@mfbc.it or, by certified electronic mail, to mfbc@pec.it.
2. Data protection officer
MFBC S.p.A. is not among the entities required to appoint a Data Protection Officer under Article 37 of the GDPR and has not appointed one. Requests concerning personal data should be addressed to the controller at the contacts given in section 1.
3. What data we collect and why
3.1 Browsing data
In the course of their normal operation, the systems that run this website acquire certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols: IP address, browser type and operating system, date and time of the visit, pages viewed and referring source. This data is used to obtain aggregate statistical information on the use of the site and to ensure that it functions correctly and securely.
3.2 Data you send us
If you write to the email addresses published on the site, we acquire your address and any other personal data contained in your message. Such data is processed solely in order to answer your request and to fulfil the related obligations.
3.3 Usage statistics
The site uses a statistics tool installed on its own servers, which records visits without sharing them with third parties for advertising or commercial profiling purposes.
4. Legal basis for processing
Browsing data and the data required for the security of the site are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the controller in keeping the site functioning and protected (Article 6.1.f of the GDPR). Data contained in the messages you send us is processed in order to act on your request, therefore on the basis of pre-contractual measures or of the legitimate interest in replying (Articles 6.1.b and 6.1.f). Processing that is not necessary for the site to function takes place only with your consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
5. Third-party services
Some pages of this site call resources provided by third parties. When this happens, your IP address is disclosed to the service provider, which may process it in accordance with its own policies.
- Google Fonts — typefaces requested from Google servers to render the pages.
- Google reCAPTCHA — Google’s anti-spam system, active on the pages to distinguish human visits from automated ones.
- Google Maps — interactive maps embedded in the contact page to show our locations.
- jsDelivr — the content delivery network from which one of the site’s scripts is loaded.
Processing carried out by these parties is governed by their own privacy notices, over which MFBC S.p.A. has no control. For Google, please refer to policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Recipients of the data
Data is processed by the controller’s authorised personnel and by the suppliers that operate the site’s technical infrastructure, appointed as data processors under Article 28 of the GDPR. Data may be disclosed to public authorities where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. Data is neither disseminated nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.
7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Use of the services listed in section 5 may involve the transfer of data to third countries, in particular the United States. Such transfers take place on the basis of the safeguards provided for in Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or the applicable adequacy decisions.
8. Retention period
Browsing data and usage statistics are retained for as long as necessary for the purposes described and in any case for no longer than 24 months, unless a legal obligation or the need to establish or defend a legal claim requires otherwise. Correspondence received by email is retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and any relationship arising from it.
9. Your rights
As a data subject you may exercise, within the limits set by Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, the right of access to your data, and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
To exercise these rights it is sufficient to write to privacy@mfbc.it. We will reply within the time limits set by the Regulation.
10. Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you believe that the processing of your data infringes the Regulation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome — garanteprivacy.it) or to bring proceedings before the courts.
11. Cookies
Cookies are small text files that the sites you visit send to your device, where they are stored and then sent back to those sites on your next visit.
Technical cookies
The site uses technical cookies, necessary for it to function and for the security of browsing, and preference cookies that remember the choices made by the user. No consent is required for these cookies, pursuant to Article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003.
Statistical cookies
The statistics tool installed on our servers records visits for audience measurement purposes.
Third-party cookies
The services listed in section 5 may install their own cookies, over which MFBC S.p.A. has no direct control. Such cookies are governed by the privacy notices of the respective providers.
How to manage cookies
You may at any time configure your browser to block cookies or to warn you before they are stored. Instructions are available in the documentation of the browser you use. Disabling technical cookies may impair the functioning of parts of the site.
12. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated to reflect changes in legislation or in the way the site works. The version published on this page, bearing the date shown at the top, is the one in force.
